Learn to Knit?

I tried to learn many months ago. Let’s just say that I still have the package that I purchased the yarn and needles in riding around in my car with a barely-started scarf (because I think that’s what all beginners learn how to do first).

So do you knit? Then why not visit Midnight Sky Fibers. Go there and you will see great handspun and handpainted fibers. Okay, I never even knew this was possible – I mean, I figured machines did it or something!

Jenn is a fiber artist whose specialty is creating vegetarian and environmentally friendly yarns. She strives to use the most non-hazardous and non-toxic dyes possible. Imagine that, you can feel good about your purchase at Midnight Sky Fibers!

You have to see the color combinations and textures that she creates. Your projects will surely be enhanced by the use of Jenn’s materials. There are even kits for you to get started or you could join the Monthly Yarn Club and Monthly Roving Club (see pics above)!

Even if you don’t knit, there are so many more uses for these fabulous fibers that Jenn creates by hand. That means even that much more love has been put into your project since the handmade process starts from the supplies you will find at Midnight Sky Fibers.

Check out these pretty fibers that Jenn made (look at those colors!):

Knitting is beyond my comprehension…I bought one of those starter kits as well. Crochet, I got that in the bag! (pun intended). Two needles…no way! I love seeing people who make their own yarn though-the colors just seem that much richer and vibrant.

See, I thought that crocheting looked more confusing to me. That’s why I thought knitting would be easier. Maybe I was wrong…I will get that scarf done one day, though!!!

Yeah, and folks like Jenn amaze me. How great is it to be able to make yarn the color you want?
