It’s the day after Christmas and I’m tired.  I’m doing some work on a project that I need to have completed by tonight, have a long to do list and haven’t even begun packing yet for our trip.  Oh well…

Hopefully you’re all having a relaxing day and don’t have to go in to work.  As you let your food from yesterday settle, why not browse around on the internet a little?  I mean, you don’t REALLY want to go back to the mall to fight the crowds for the “day after” sales do you?

We stayed up until midnight at my in-law’s house to open gifts. We are pooped after a few hours of sleep. Now it’s off to my mom’s house to open gifts with them and eat a yummy lunch. After that we’ll be heading to my in-law’s again for a lovely dinner.

I wanted to apologize for not posting as consistently for the last week or so. The end of the year has been hectic and I haven’t made enough time for Mixed Plate. My husband and I are off to San Francisco tomorrow night to celebrate our anniversary (3rd year!) and will ring in the new year there as well. I’ll try to post about the fun adventures we’ll have while we’re there.

Susie Ghahremani is an illustrator, musician and “stuff maker”. She runs the great little site called boygirlparty where she sells her art. Born in Chicago, Susie ended up in Rhode Island and attended the School of Design there in 1998. She currently resides in California.
