It All Started in a Basement…
Based in San Francisco is a copmany that started screen printing tees in a basement of a home. Greg Long and Chris Edmundson founded Gama-Go in late 2000 to help showcase their friend’s artwork. Tim Biskup was one of those friends who actually helped to get the Gama-Go name out there. With his Gama-Goon painting that was later turned into a favorite character on a tee shirt, Gama-Go was born.
May 2001 was the offical start to this business and has since grown hugely in success. With the sense of design, humor and bold color palette that the founders of this company provide, a cult-like following has emerged. From crafting shirts in a basement to providing their goods to 250 stores in the US and internationally, Gama-Go has surely come a long way and will continue to grow.
