Travel In Style

I’ve been at the airport a lot recently for work. Just going to the outer islands for the day to complete a project and then returning back to Oahu. Usually this means that I’m in my work clothes along with just my old Timbuk2 messenger bag (trusty big bag), a book and iPod – you know, the plain essentials.

Have you ever sat in an airport and just people-watched? Well, I have been getting stuck waiting for flights and spending more time at the airport than I’d like. I have, however, been able to see a lot of fashionable folks there with great handbags and luggage.

Which leads me to finding these (a number of them by Orla Kiely)…

Yup, plain old luggage or bags make me kind of sad. Unfortunately, that’s usually what I tote around with me. There is hope out there, though, huh? :o)
