Michele Lau
Hawaii gal Michele Lau is a talented clothing designer. In fact, she caught the creativity bug back in high school. Feeling like she wanted to express her unique and individual style (which always seems to make for an excellent designer), Michele would sew her own outfits. Back in January 2005 she launched her own line after being asked by friends to make them clothes. Inspired by anything and everything vintage, Michele’s clothing is actually quite modern and flirty. The cuts and flow of her outfits are clean yet full of style and flare.
Michele is currently following her dream in New York and Mixed Plate will surely be keeping an eye out for what she does next. For now, here’s a couple cuties from her shop:
