Midori Jewelry

Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Traci Morinaga has beautiful and tropical inspiration at hand. Her life was one that would lead her to law school. However, when Traci entered motherhood she saw a new opportunity. Her part-time hobby of making jewelry developed into a full-time business, Midori Jewelry.

Traci has been handcrafting jewelry for over 10 years and has sold her creations at fairs and local retail stores throughout Hawaii. There was also recently a fashion spread in the MidWeek that featured a couple of items by Midori Jewelry. Her classic style with contemporary flair makes for accessories appropriate for any season. Semi-precious and precious gemstones, sterling silver and pearls are some of the materials utilized in Traci’s work. Having control over processes like making a lot of her own pendants and ear wires adds an authenticity to her designs, making her handmade pieces even more unique.

I love the colors and versatility that all of her jewelry has to offer. If you’d like to see Traci’s designs for yourself, head on over to the Made in Hawaii Festival this weekend (more info below).
