Miss Bunny’s is a little shop full of art, prints, cards, bags, plushies and clay characters and shoes. Now, the shoes aren’t just any old shoes. Recycling shoes and placing fabulous pieces of art on them is Miss Bunny’s specialty. While the shoes are primarily second-hand, they are all in good condition. Check out some of the sexy footwear…

Fighting Eel

Hawaii-based designers Rona Bennett and Lan Chung are behind the fabulous clothing company, Fighting Eel. Their love of fashion and travel sparked the beginning of their company in the summer of 2003 and they’ve been growing ever since. With versatile pieces that flow and are oh-so-comfy, how could you fight the urge to pick up a piece or two. The Fall Collection has dresses and more in amazingly bold, rich colors while the Holiday 2007 Collection has sparkle and glitz to it.

You can find their stylish apparel at boutiques throughout the US as well as online retailers. Check out their site for a list of stockists or visit their headquarters. They are open every Friday from 10am - 5pm at 47 North Hotel Street.

Cricket Press

What don’t I love at Cricket Press?!? I did the best I could to restrain myself from featuring every.single.item in the shop. Cricket Press is a little company based in Lexington, Kentucky. Everything at the site is designed and hand printed, silk-screened and letterpressed by Brian and Sara Turner. Posters, cards, shirts, journals and more are printed by this talented duo and are very affordable. I really do ‘heart’ all the images they’ve created and have a H-U-G-E wish list of items to get from their shop. You surely will too. Either shop from their site directly or find fun test-prints at their Etsy shop. Take a look…

I haven’t done a non-handmade or Anthropologie post in a while. When I pulled up their website, however, I just knew I had to do one. Hope you like the lovely Fall items that are in the shop now. I am loving all of the bold colors and design. Of course, I somehow pulled mostly all sweaters…

Starting a New Season…

It’s here. It’s finally here. The start of the new seasons of all of your favorite television shows. Family Guy had its Season Premiere last night and it was part of a two-episode show. It’s Always Sunny in Philadephia (HILLARIOUS) had its Season 3 premier the other week. Why didn’t I start watching this show sooner? I wish I had time to keep up with all of these shows, but that would be unrealistic. So, here are some of my favorites…

Heroes premiers tonight:

Heroes

I wish I had remembered to follow this show from the beginning of its First season. I saw a few episodes and am pretty hooked now.

Criminal Minds premiers Wednesday, September 26:

Criminal Minds

Another show that I like to catch when I can. The characters are fun and the cases are interesting.

Ugly Betty premiers Thursday, September 27:

Ugly Betty

What’s there not to like about this show?

Grey’s Anatomy (my fave) premiers Thursday, September 27:

Grey’s Anatomy

Yes, it is still my favorite show and I’ve been waiting all summer for the season to start up again. Reruns and past seasons on DVD will no longer cut it. I want Season 4!!

ER premiers Thursday, September 27:

ER

I have watched ER off and on throughout its many seasons. While I’m not 100% in love with the show I still want to watch to see what happens to the characters. Can you believe this will be season 14?

Without a Trace premiers Thursday, September 27:

Without a Trace

I hardly ever remember to watch this show, but when I do I’m glad. A good thing about Without a Trace is that during one of the commercial breaks of each episode they feature a missing person in hopes of trying to locate them.

Friday Night Lights premiers Friday, October 5:

Friday Night Lights

Even if you’re not a football fan you can watch this show. It isn’t entirely about the sport. The best acting from this cast, in my opinion, is by the boys of the show. It’s a show that has heart and I like that. Oh yeah, and there’s Kyle Chandler.

Numb3rs premiers Friday, September 28:

Numb3rs

This is a show that I think I watch mainly because I enjoy the characters. I have no idea what Charlie is talking about (yeah, he’s the “numbers” guy) but it’s a good time anyway. Hello, Rob Morrow.

Here’s a couple others that I haven’t seen in a while but you may like to know about:

Prison Break had its opening episode last week. I haven’t watched this show but a few times. Which is why when I went to iTunes and downloaded the episode (for free, by the way) I was confused. Hey, Wentworth Miller is in it.

Kitchen Nightmares actually started last week. I missed it but am hoping it’s as fun as Hell’s Kitchen. I love Chef Gordon Ramsay!

CSI: Miami premiers Monday, September 24 (tonight); CSI: New York premiers Wednesday, September 26; The original CSI premiers Thursday, September 27.

The Office premiers Thursday, September 27.

My Name is Earl premiers Thursday, September 27.

30 Rock premiers Thursday, October 4.

Scrubs premiers Thursday, October 25.

Project Runway - Not until late 2007?

Medium - Gotta wait until January!

Okay…so let me know if I’ve missed any shows that you are ready to start watching. Just so you know - I don’t have HBO and all so that’s why I don’t get to watch all the other fun shows that are probably set to begin. Looks like I’m not going to get any work done on Thursdays…
