Starting a New Season…

It’s here. It’s finally here. The start of the new seasons of all of your favorite television shows. Family Guy had its Season Premiere last night and it was part of a two-episode show. It’s Always Sunny in Philadephia (HILLARIOUS) had its Season 3 premier the other week. Why didn’t I start watching this show sooner? I wish I had time to keep up with all of these shows, but that would be unrealistic. So, here are some of my favorites…

Heroes premiers tonight:

Heroes

I wish I had remembered to follow this show from the beginning of its First season. I saw a few episodes and am pretty hooked now.

Criminal Minds premiers Wednesday, September 26:

Criminal Minds

Another show that I like to catch when I can. The characters are fun and the cases are interesting.

Ugly Betty premiers Thursday, September 27:

Ugly Betty

What’s there not to like about this show?

Grey’s Anatomy (my fave) premiers Thursday, September 27:

Grey’s Anatomy

Yes, it is still my favorite show and I’ve been waiting all summer for the season to start up again. Reruns and past seasons on DVD will no longer cut it. I want Season 4!!

ER premiers Thursday, September 27:

ER

I have watched ER off and on throughout its many seasons. While I’m not 100% in love with the show I still want to watch to see what happens to the characters. Can you believe this will be season 14?

Without a Trace premiers Thursday, September 27:

Without a Trace

I hardly ever remember to watch this show, but when I do I’m glad. A good thing about Without a Trace is that during one of the commercial breaks of each episode they feature a missing person in hopes of trying to locate them.

Friday Night Lights premiers Friday, October 5:

Friday Night Lights

Even if you’re not a football fan you can watch this show. It isn’t entirely about the sport. The best acting from this cast, in my opinion, is by the boys of the show. It’s a show that has heart and I like that. Oh yeah, and there’s Kyle Chandler.

Numb3rs premiers Friday, September 28:

Numb3rs

This is a show that I think I watch mainly because I enjoy the characters. I have no idea what Charlie is talking about (yeah, he’s the “numbers” guy) but it’s a good time anyway. Hello, Rob Morrow.

Here’s a couple others that I haven’t seen in a while but you may like to know about:

Prison Break had its opening episode last week. I haven’t watched this show but a few times. Which is why when I went to iTunes and downloaded the episode (for free, by the way) I was confused. Hey, Wentworth Miller is in it.

Kitchen Nightmares actually started last week. I missed it but am hoping it’s as fun as Hell’s Kitchen. I love Chef Gordon Ramsay!

CSI: Miami premiers Monday, September 24 (tonight); CSI: New York premiers Wednesday, September 26; The original CSI premiers Thursday, September 27.

The Office premiers Thursday, September 27.

My Name is Earl premiers Thursday, September 27.

30 Rock premiers Thursday, October 4.

Scrubs premiers Thursday, October 25.

Project Runway – Not until late 2007?

Medium – Gotta wait until January!

Okay…so let me know if I’ve missed any shows that you are ready to start watching. Just so you know – I don’t have HBO and all so that’s why I don’t get to watch all the other fun shows that are probably set to begin. Looks like I’m not going to get any work done on Thursdays…

The Office! Its the best show ever! And My Name Is Earl is so funny and sweet.

I’m pondering giving up on Grey’s Anatomy. After last season the only character I can even stand is Bailey and maybe Callie. The rest have just become so awful awful awful.

I’ve just seen a couple of episodes of The Office. It’s pretty funny and the humor is a little different. I appreciate that it’s a unique show.

I’ve added The Office and My Name Is Earl above.

Yeah, sometimes I can’t stand some of the cast (like Meredith – too much whining). But, I’ll admit that I’m still hooked. We’ll have to see…

Gee, Claire…looks like your two shows premier on Thursday, too. It seems that both of us may be glued to the t.v.!

That is so helpful! I’ve been meaning to look up this stuff… I might have missed heroes if you hadn’t posted!

I’m most excited for Gray’s Anatomy and Lost, which unfortunately doesn’t premier until February. :(

Desperate Housewives (guilty pleasure) also premiers this Sunday.

I’m thinking of starting a traveling tv night on Thursdays with some friends of ours. I met another person who does it just for his favorite shows and it seems like the perfect thing to do with our Office obsessed friends.

Can’t wait for the next Project Runway either!

So, Lindsay…Hope you caught Heroes. I made sure I was on the couch at that time!

You know, it’s weird that I haven’t gotten into Lost. I mean, it is filmed here in Hawaii!

Claire – That is a great idea! Something fun to do together and a perfect reason to make time to hang out with friends!

    Project Runway…HURRY UP!!!!
