Beyond the Rockz

Caroline and Al recently shared some of their jewelry creations with me from their company, Beyond the Rockz.  Based along the borders of Connecticut and Massachusetts (Beyond the Rockz), this team is inspired by the art of light which is what you’ll find within the handmade jewelry designs at their shop.

Al is a jewelry designer and goldsmith by profession and Caroline makes mixed media jewelry on the side.  Together they have over 25 years combined experience in designing and handmaking fine jewelry and restoring antique and period jewelry.  With the use of their jeweler’s benches at their home, they draw from stained glass and the beauty of light for their pieces.  With the support of their family, they hope to continue to grow their shop and add to their current collections.  Check out a few items by Beyond the Rockz:

I love the rings! I am always amazed at the patience it takes to create such beautiful hand crafted pieces.

Another site I have found I like is http://www.allwiredupjewelry.com. They have some unique handmade pieces.
