GPS, Anyone?
I don’t know if I have mentioned this before, but since the move I haven’t watched much television. The decision was made not to purchase a t.v. for a couple of reasons: Save money on the cable bill; not much space in the apartment; just don’t need to watch. Besides, the few shows that I do want to keep up with happen to have full episodes online anyway. Why am I telling you this? Well…
Recently there have been family members visiting San Francisco. While here, I took note that both sides of the family insisted on using the trusty ol’ GPS. Don’t get me started, but let’s just say I’m not a fan. I like the idea of having a map or someone giving you directions and going for it (sorry, I had to add that in). There, of course, were a number of times when the GPS would send the family astray with it’s weird directions and the nice woman’s voice would tell the driver to “make a u-turn when possible”. After sharing my story with a friend, he suggested I take a look at this clip from The Office. I found it flippin’ crazy funny because of the fact that the whole GPS-family experience was fresh in mind. So, my whole “I don’t watch much t.v.” sharing above is now followed by a “now I know they have full episodes on the web of The Office”. Uh-oh.
Can you relate? Enjoy…
