The Wild Life
Join Susie Ghahremani, of boygirlparty, for her upcoming show called “The Wild Life”. This is her fifth solo art show and will feature an amazing extensive collection of over 100 brand new miniature paintings. You will be surrounded by a hand-crafted aerial installation at the gallery, providing for a three-dimensional experience. See the world that Susie gets creative in.
Dogs, birds and owls will all be part of the works you’ll see at the show. The subjects of the animal world take on human qualities and live in domesticated environments via her paintings (many of which will be on wood tile and wood blocks). The theme of this exhibit is partly inspired by Susie’s personal experience volunteering as a wildlife rehabilitator.
Stop on by Giant Robot in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 16 at 6:30pm for the show’s opening. Her artwork will be on display from August 16 through September 17. They’ll also be hosting a haiku contest as well. Yup, fun and crafty prizes will be awarded to the best haikus of the evening!
