Where are you located?
Pamplona, Spain
What is it that you design and create?
Silk accessories: scarves, clothes, jewelry, etc, and paintings.
What is your favorite part of the design process?
Painting! I like coming up with the design, but deciding the colors and actually painting the silk is the best part.
How did you come up with your business name?
It’s just my two last names (in Spain we have 2 family names: father’s & mother’s), you can see I wasn’t too original hehe.
Where/How did this all begin?
Many years ago I got a silk painting book for Christmas and loved the bright colors, and that this art could be worn, so I started painting silk.
Who or what inspires you?
Nature, buildings, but especially abstract art, I get a lot of new ideas when I visit modern art museums.
What advice would you give other independent artists who are just starting out?
To work hard. Very hard. Keep doing what you like and soon people will start to know you, don’t give up!
What is your favorite indie purchase or trade?
Hair pins I got as a gift.
What’s on your iPod/music player right now?
Amy Winehouse, anything from Back to black, I really like that voice.
What t.v. shows are you currently hooked on?
The Sopranos
What was the last movie you watched?
Latest Batman movie, the dark knight. As everybody says, Heath Ledger was the star of the movie.
What’s your favorite food?
Roasted chicken… yummy!
What’s your favorite candy?
Bombons.. hehehe The ones from Belgium are fabulous, and BIG!

Coffee =)
What store could you walk around in for hours and be happy?
IKEA! hahaha

Favorite place to visit or place you’d like to visit?
Rome, loved it.
If you could be a superhero, what would your name be and what would be your superpowers?
Time Woman! And my super power would be to stretch time. I’m always in a hurry you know! I wish the day had 28 hours.
Any celebrity crushes?
Robert Redford and Bruce Springsteen, you can tell I’m not young, haha.
Favorite Holiday?
Christmas, definitely.
If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be?
Sandals, I love them!
What do you secretly wish you could do/be?
I wish I was a famous designer hehehe =)

I speak English and French.

Keep working, painting more and more and creating new designs, especially jewelry made of silk.
