Would You Like Cream With That?
It is quite interesting that as I’m typing this post I am pretty tired. I am thinking of having a coffee when I get in to work today. It’s also interesting that the last post here had a little something to do with coffee. Huh. I’m noticing a trend. All for good reason, though. This new print by Lucas and Hayley of the Keep Calm Gallery in the UK is adorable. They told me the inspiration for this design came from a song written by Buddy DeSylva and Lew Brown for the Broadway musical “Hold Everything!”
There are two versions of the print available. One uses black ink on heavy, textured Somerset printmaking paper, and another uses white ink on recycled brown kraft paper. Both have been screen printed by hand and measure 14 by 22 inches.
