Living in a tiny apartment doesn’t allow for much in the way of gathering great vintage pieces for your collection. Well, not in my case. But, I have to say that it’s always fun to poke around and see what great finds others have scouted out. I just found Extra Virgin Home on Etsy this morning and figured that if not me, someone out there would have space for these treasures…
I am in love with these Brazilian agate necklaces by stone & honey. All of the pieces are handmade in their Portland studio and are one-of-a-kind since no two stones are alike. You can select small, medium or large agate slab necklaces. It just depends on what statement you’re going for.
These two bib dresses by Sew Moe Designs are so cute! Perfect over leggings {as they’ve shown} with boots or flats. I’m sure it would work with a fitted top underneath or a thin sweater/cardigan over if you’re feeling shy about the back.
I have a friend who celebrated a birthday yesterday. He is a fighter and is obsessed with staying in shape. So, it’s only natural that this post be dedicated to him {even though it is a day late}…
I love these adorable and practical Reusable Veggies Bags by Wonder Thunder at Fey Handmade. The bags are made from preshrunk recycled cotton muslin and have an organic cotton drawstring. The designs are drawn then screen-printed with water-based inks. Choose either red or blue {or, hey, maybe a set of each} and receive 4 bags in various sizes for just $20.00. They’re even machine washable!
Aloha! I hope that there are good weekends in store for you all. It seems like I have been very busy over the last couple of weeks and have been accomplishing so much {what a good feeling!}. Happy, Happy Friday, my friends.
If you follow me on Twitter {hope you are} or are my friend on Facebook {Mixed Plate’s fan page, network}, you’ve already seen this. That’s ok. Now you can see it again. I love me some Jason Schwartzman…
What kind of relationship do you have with your hair? Love? Hate? Love/Hate? Indifferent? I go through stages with my hair. I am currently in the “in between” stage. You know what I’m talking about. When it’s no longer short, yet not quite long enough to pull back into a ponytail without 50 bobby pins keeping the strays in place. I am in the stage where my last cut was really short and I’m trying so hard to be patient and let it grow out. But, it is inevitable. I will at some point {I’m surprised I’ve last this long} get frustrated and chop it all off again. So, what’s a girl to do when her hair is “in between” where she’d like it to be? Peruse the web for fabulous hair accessories, of course! Here’s some of what I’ve found. Some are much bolder than I would dare, but oh-so-lovely. What do you think?
Moop is just another one of those shops that I get excited about when I learn there’s something new being whipped up. Here are the latest bags {or new colors} that have been added…
