When I saw this posted online, I was pretty excited. Tomorrow, 09/09/09, at 9:09 am Pacific time {which will be Noon:09 Eastern} these prints will go sale:
The edition is titled “The Scarlet Lettering” and features work from artists Marian Bantjes, Kate Bingaman-Burt, Ray Fenwick, Ray Frenden, Linzie Hunter, Nate Williams, and David Huyck {mastermind behind Cloudy Collection}. Oooh, so many favorites all at once!
These amazing prints are said to be pretty fancy stuff. They include a blind deboss layer {no color in the ink, so there’s an impression but it’s subtle}, and to help the visibility of that layer, it’s printed onto a 2-ply paper, so it’s double-thick. Oh, I love all of them! I got a chance to see them this morning {had the alarm set, like I said I would} and want to buy them all. It’s just a matter of finding the space for all the things I adore.
