Sandy and Matthew of Treatzone have a Halloween-themed solo show at The Curiosity Shoppe here in San Francisco coming up soon {see complete info below}. The opening reception is Friday, October 23rd from 6 – 8 pm. Their artwork will be up starting October 20 – November 22, 2009. I can’t wait to see it! Here’s a peek of something you’ll see at the show that I spied from their Flickr account…
The show will feature work painted on vintage postcards. The custom lettering {in the first pic up above} was inspired by the type on the postcards the duo have been working with. I love it! Until the show, however, here’s a few other things I’m digging on at their shop…

I bought a robe last year thinking that it was practical. It kept me warm while doing work in my apartment {you know how cold I always get} and the one I chose was so soft. It even had a hood. Alright, so the truth is that while it does keep me warm and it is cozy, it’s red, fuzzy and kind of makes me look like Clifford the Big Red Dog. And while I think Clifford is cute and all, I should probably upgrade to something a little prettier, right? These may not totally keep toasty, I have been spying the dreamy loungewear at Plum Pretty Sugar…
