I bet you never had a scooter like this growing up…
I saw this Rocking Italian Scooter Deluxe {$2,000.00} by Théatron Italian Art the other morning on the Etsy and was blown away. Everything is handmade {and made to order} in Turin on this fiberglass with aluminum and steel detailed rocking-scooter and even has working lights and clacson. I wonder if I’m too big for this?
I stumbled upon Vancouver, BC-based independent studio Organelle Design and had to share this with you. Courtney Hunt and Alex Witko draw from architectural, interior and industrial design practices to create innovative products and home design. Check out the organically inspired furniture and lighting they craft from common recycled materials…
Papercuts by Joe is a shop that I had intended on posting about weeks ago. It’s pretty amazing what someone can do by hand-cutting pieces of paper and utilizing lots and lots of patience. Here are some fun designs and custom silhouettes {he even does architecture work}…
Aloha in Hawaiian can mean a number of things, including both hello and love. While it didn’t make the cut for Jennifer‘s most recent design, I do think these would be fantastic in any home or office in need of a modern print…
Hello and Love Languages {both come in 2 print options}: $25.00 – $35.00
Who is that musician {or musicians} that you always go to time and again? When I need to feel calm. When I want to go to that moody place. When I just need some relaxing tunes. It is a small handful of musicians I count on and Ray LaMontagne has been the one who seems to always be on. In fact, I’m actually listening to him as I type this post {makes sense, right?}. So I thought I’d share some concert posters I found online from his past shows.
I just wanted to say thank you for being so patient. I haven’t posted in a couple days and I have my internet service provider to thank for that. I’ve been frustrated and am not able to do much work since everything takes place online. I’ll keep trying to remedy the issue and will hopefully be back like normal tomorrow. Hope you’ll have a great Monday. I heart you all…
Visiting EmersonMade always brings a smile to my face. I mean, it’s all about bright, happy flowers and these are also pretty romantic, don’t you think?
When I saw this item, I thought back to when I was a child. I honestly can’t remember what kind of number cards my siblings and I had growing up. I mean, I’m quite sure we had a set like most families. But I doubt they were as pretty as these…
This set of 12 illustrated Counting Cards {$18.00} featuring animals by Kiki & Polly are too precious. They even come with baker’s twine and mini clothespins so that you can display them {or, hey, you could even frame them}.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was beautiful here in San Francisco. Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day and/or Chinese New Year? Well if any of my U.S. readers have the day off today, I hope that it is a relaxing one. I’m off to the day job soon {stop by and say hello if you’re in the neighborhood!} and thought I’d share this with you before I head out…
Will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year? Are you even a Valentine’s Day kind of person? Well, however you feel about February 14, I just want to say thank you for being a part of Mixed Plate each day. I appreciate you visiting, commenting, and supporting me. I heart you all…
