a love letter for you.

A while back I had seen this post over Leya’s blog, Curious Bird. It, along with other things, made me want to visit Philadelphia {and not just because one of my favorite shows is based there}. A Love Letter For You is a project by Stephen Powers with the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. Stephen leads teams of painters to create murals on buildings along the elevated train route in West Philadelphia. His goal was to include 50 rooftop and street-level murals, each depicting a sort of love note. It has received sponsorship and support via Arts and Heritage groups in the city and I think you will agree that his artwork is lovely. You can even purchase his book documenting the project.
