one of my favorite artists, shanna murray, has created a couple of special edition illustrated decals. 100% of the proceeds from these will go to aid for japan via shelterbox. so beautiful…
originally i had seen chewing the cud at one of the renegade fairs here in san francisco. i loved their company so much and have been meaning to share them with you all. the give wraps are reusable fabric gift wraps with designs printed with soy-based inks on 100% organic cotton. here are a few of their newest in the shop…
i know, i know. you must be thinking that i am a crazy emersonmade obsessed gal. yes. yes, i am. there’s no denying it. i am constantly stalking the shop waiting for what’s new and what collection is being worked on {i cannot wait for all that fall stuff!}. it is a problem, but a good one i think. the quality of these designs are superb and the styles are some i have been searching for that you just can’t find anywhere else {that’s why you shop indie!}. now there’s even more for me to obsess over! take a gander at these limited edition silk prints…
doesn’t the dress look cute over pants and with a jacket?!

as i mentioned earlier, i did not get a lot done while back home on my recent trip due to being so ill. i wanted to check out fighting eel‘s spring 2011 collection in person {which is always fantastic, by the way} but will have to settle for online. hey, the gorgeous photos have me wishing for spring, sun, and a re-do of my trip.

i have not vanished, friends, and am back to work. thank goodness! my trip home was a mixed bag. i was so happy to spend time with loved ones {my nieces and nephew even sang “happy birthday” to me!} but from the moment i stepped off the plane, i was sick. the entire trip. in fact i am still not 100% after two weeks! this is for sure the worse i have ever felt. not fun. my routines are all messed up – no posting, not working at the day job, not punching or kicking anything {no, no, i’m talking about my workouts}. i’ve been doing a lot of resting and reflecting, reading and catching up on shows online. while i was in hawai’i, there were hardly any days of sun. it rained pretty much the whole time. so here is one of the only photos i captured while my sister and i walked around when we saw a little hint of sun {kind of like a postcard, right?}…
i can’t believe that it’s friday already {i know. i always say that}! i leave for hawai’i on sunday morning to be with my family. so, so ready for that! if i’m not around here very much, that’s why and it isn’t because i don’t love you. tonight i’m going to let my problems go and have fun with some of my favorite people. i hope you had a wonderful week and that the weekend will be full of joy. have a happy, happy aloha friday!
aloha! i’m Liana. this is my site. i am not a professional writer. i pretty much just write the way i talk. it’s fun meeting new online friends and introducing these amazing artists. i’ll do my best to keep you entertained.
