monday was a bff’s 36th birthday. this year i decided that i wanted to treat him to something we could do together rather than buy or make a gift. it’s really important to me that i am able to spend time with people i care about and love. throughout the year i usually find little things for him or his kids that i think will make them happy. i’m hoping that when we get a chance to celebrate, it’ll bring the same amount of joy {i haven’t told him what we’re doing just yet so i can’t spill the beans to you guys – i’ll share later}. i did, however, give him a fun birthday card {i’m an excellent card-giver, by the way, and find ones that are oh-so-appropriate for the recipient}…

great, right? it’s a letterpress card {myths} printed on 100% recycled paper by greenwich letterpress. all joking aside, his age is a mystery because he looks younger than 36. help me celebrate by sending birthday love over to someone who deserves all of his wishes to come true.

   I just found your blog, and I love it! I used to sew all the time, years ago. I am slowly getting back into it. It really is a very creative way to express yourself, and it can be so much fun. Love the cute pattern, too!!
