loving these house industries and herman miller limited edition eames wire-based tables. so gorgeous! they feature letters a thru z, numbers and ornaments from the eames century modern font collection. uh, and check out the house industries-designed wooden crates. can i at least have one of those?!
happy tuesday! i forgot that i had wanted to share with you some fun new illustrations from chipmunk cheeks. i thought the last time i had featured katie’s work i had loved those and fell even more for these…
happy weekend! i had a really busy week but a best friend has had an even busier one. i tried to cheer them up yesterday a little bit because something happened that will now prevent their participation in an upcoming event that they’d worked so very hard on. i felt sad for my friend because of the pain they were in and how disappointed they were about the circumstances. but when i stumbled upon this letterpress print, i thought it might help in the cheer-up process since shark week is apparently their favorite week of the year…
i do love me some shark week. cute, right? it’d cheer me up.
brooklyn, new york resident dana tanamachi is a graphic designer and custom chalk letterer. can you imagine the patience it must take to create such beautiful pieces of work? amazing.
i have been meaning to share shanna’s newest additions to her shop. last month she released her spring designs and, of course, i am once again loving every single one…
i am in one of those i-need-comfort-food-to-make-me-feel-better moods {otherwise known as what may turn out to be “stress eating”}. and my friend was talking about pancakes recently {hello, comfort food!}, so how cute is this print…
but you wanna see what’s even better?
cute mini pancakes with your name on the top! who’s with me? let’s have some pancakes {i’ll even make little signs for our names}!
so…this is new to me, but a few years ago there was a commercial that aired where thousands of colorful bouncy balls made their way down the streets {and crazy hills} of san francisco. danish photographer, peter funch was able to capture the action and the limited edition prints are available for sale at Lumas. check these photos…
amazing, right?! i can’t believe that really happened! here’s the video {i think it’s beautiful}…
i like these prints. they make me want to dig through my records and play something i can dance to {and the second print makes me wanna throw on a pair of yellow stockings or knee-high socks!}…
