if you work with felt for any of your crafty projects, you should probably get some of this fancy stuff…
sue has the prettiest fancy felt in the most vibrant colors! you can select specific colors or get it in a collection of assorted ones. the felt is made of an eco-friendly wool and viscose blend here in the united states {and cut to order}. just looking at it all makes me smile…

so you know how i always talk about having cold hands and feet? well, even the heater in my apartment doesn’t stop me from wearing socks all the time. so i kinda really want a pair of these french slipper socks by collégien that are for both kids and adults {hooray!}…
don’t they look comfy? you know my issue would be deciding which to get, right? i do prefer the high sock version. do you have a pair?

there is no hiding the fact that i am absolutely and truly in love with everything and anything emersonmade. in fact, that is where i made my most recent indie purchase from. so when i saw these, i jumped for joy {i am so a t-shirt and jeans kinda gal}…

The Foxy Friends and Elephant Safari Linen Tea Towels or Wall Hangings {$20.00/ea} are begging to come live with me. The adorable designs are screenprinted using water based inks. I say there’s no choosing between the two so if you’re considering purchasing them…well, you know what I think.

Over this past holiday season {previous ones as well} I did my shopping from only small businesses. Everyone got things from me from shops that were local or independently owned. One of my favorite shops for getting unique gift items is Limonaia.
Located in Russian Hill here in San Francisco, owner Jessica Goldfarb has curated a selection of goods from both local and international companies fit for any occasion and recipient. Most recently I picked up a vase and candle for my mom, a fabric pouch for my sister, and a memory card game, drawing books and bath treats for my nieces and nephews. Oh, and there may have been a little something for myself thrown in there as well. The shop is great because it fits any budget.
Stop on by and see Jessica and her friendly staff. They are all very helpful and knowledgeable about the lines they carry in the shop. Some of my current favorites are the fabric headbands and ponytail holders made locally {which I own}, paper products, candles, soaps, and well, just about everything I guess. My friend actually just gave me the cutest wristlet/clutch from Limonaia recently as well. I’m also kind of obsessed with the blabla dolls {hey, I’m a big kid, right?!}…

Not sure if you folks have noticed, but N.E.E.T. Magazine has a new look. Stephanie has done an amazing job on the redesign and the current issue {launched on September 1} is full of great handmade items and shops.
