There were a couple of posts on Mixed Plate that I’ve done regarding wallpaper {how do you feel about it?}. With so many artists lending their eye for design to wallpaper companies, you really can’t go wrong. I’m finding more and more that I would enjoy seeing every morning when I wake up and every evening when I walk through the door. I am really excited about the launch of the Oh Joy! collection for Hygge & West…

I am pretty sure that I’ve shared the fact that this apartment finally has a few art pieces put up. Also up are my vintage framed chalkboard and an inspiration board. But the walls are sad and white. Yes, I am one of those people who follow the lease rules and am a big scaredy cat and never paint. It’s the second apartment I’ve lived in since moving to San Francisco and the first…well, NOTHING went on the walls there! Since I’ve been such a huge fan of all things Shanna Murray, these illustrated wall and window decals have been on my radar for some time now. Biggest problem? Narrowing down the choices…

You know I have a love for animals, right? So you can imagine the joy I felt when I saw what Tara has in her shop, Ink+Wit…

The Foxy Friends and Elephant Safari Linen Tea Towels or Wall Hangings {$20.00/ea} are begging to come live with me. The adorable designs are screenprinted using water based inks. I say there’s no choosing between the two so if you’re considering purchasing them…well, you know what I think.

Remember the post about that fabulous zebra that could totally replace a disco ball? Well I just spotted these over at Joy’s blog and fell in love. All of the garlands and pinatas are made by hand in New York City by Confetti System. Let’s have a party. Heck, no need for a party. Just toss these up and liven up any space. Can you imagine these at a workplace? That could brighten up the day…

Tassel Garlands are made of tissue paper and mylar. You can request a custom color combo or go with the Multi-Color, Neutrals or Brights {$130.00/ea}.
Check out the pinata section, too! Oh, and browse around their site because they do amazing things for parties/events, etc.

Aloha, friends! I have been so busy during the past few weeks, thus the silence here. I apologize and am getting caught up on things, emails, posts, life, blah, blah, blah. How have you all been? A couple of things that I am working on are special ad rates for the summer, guest posts/features, more crafty folks interviews, and more giveaways. What do you think? Sound fun? Let me know if you’re interested and we’ll get crackin’ on some projects together.

There are so many sites that I have bookmarked that I sometimes forget to go back to them. When I revisited Noun, I remembered why it held a spot on my favorites list. Located in Portalnd, Oregon, Stephanie Sheldon and her husband Thomas opened this gorgeous shop on Belmont Street in 2006. Much of their inventory is new and/or local, yet I am intrigued by the vintage pieces currently listed on their site…

1. Vintage Metal Lunchbox: $22.00
2. Vintage Folding Camera & Leather Case: $65.00
3. Vintage Office Ledger: $11.00
4. Royal Standard Typewriter with Rare Mathematic Keyboard: $625.00
5. Wooden Weis Card File: $48.00
6. Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser: $38.00

I want to have a green thumb. I really do. In my little apartment I currently have one terrarium that I haven’t managed to kill off just yet. Previously, I had this great moss plant that I was assured was very easy to keep and care for. Guess who killed it? I honestly do want to be a good plant mommy, so I wonder if Katie’s beautiful terrariums would be something I could handle…

While Katie is working on a full site for her shop, Botany Factory, you can find her terrariums here.
