Adding To Wishlist…

How adorable are these handmade animals? Jennifer Muskopf, of Clive and Sunshine, is a painter who is living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Back in 1993 she began creating these lifelike stuffed animals that are constructed of new and vintage fabrics. The hand embroidered faces add character and life to each one.

Toast, Please…

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Pinkytoast is a shop full of the sweet and the sour. Original paintings, drawings, dolls and accessories are full of colorful images that will intrigue you.

Sandra’s artwork reflects pouts, big-eyed gals, raindrops, moon balloons and more. There is a sadness in each piece that I find absolutely lovable. Little devils, angels and fairy tales - what more can a girl ask for?

Since it was hard for me to choose just 3 favorites, and because there are so many things to see at the Pinkytoast shop, I decided to share a few things with you. I’ve selected prints, coasters, dolls and even mirrors. Sandra’s got a little bit of everything!

Pickles?

Yup, meet Mr. Pickles, a fun-loving…well, pickle!

Mr. Pickles was created by brother and sister team Jack and Rita. They actually came up with the idea on the very same day at the very same time using their telepathic powers. Now Mr. Pickles’ world has grown to include friends such as a flying hamburger and a nerd ghost.

Their recently redesigned website features even more animations, Mr. Friend’s Celebrity Love Poems and Helpful Advice from a grizzly bear named Rusty. You’ll even find the fun Masterpickles Theatre and a shop full of goodies that sport graphics of the characters you’ll come to love.

If you’re ready to venture off into the wonderful land of Mr. Pickles and all of his friends, head on over to visit one of the most fun sites around.

So Cuddly…

I found this website sometime last year and have wanted to make a purchase ever since. I’m thinking that maybe I’ll treat myself this Halloween and hit the “Add To Cart” button. But which plush to get?

At Cuddly Rigor Mortis Kristin sews up a batch of creepy, yet cuddly, creatures. Frank, his Bride, Bat, and Devil are just a few of the characters at her shop. In addition to Cuddly Rigor Mortis, Kristin also owns Cha-Pow! (where they provide ink and paint services to animation studios) with her husband.

Creep on over to Kristin’s site and find a cuddly little critter of your own…
