golden hues have really been popping up a lot. naturally, i assume it is because of the holiday season that is fast approaching. dresses that hang in windows, sparkly heels {i won’t lie…i do want a pair of glittery shoes}, and fun nail polish {my nails are currently gold} have been making more frequent appearances. all are fitting for the holidays that lead us to a new year. do you do gold?

finally bringing back my color posts! i guess i don’t really need to explain why today’s color feature is all about orange and black. alright, for those of us living in san francisco it may mean a little bit more right now. i decided in the spirit of october 31 that i’d paint my nails orange and black. conveniently, it happens to be that the giants are playing in the world series right now so there is major orange and black throughout the city. enjoy…

So, perhaps the title should really be “colors” today. I am really feeling homesick and miss the sun so much. It’s been fairly dreary here in San Francisco. I think the last really sunny weekend was when my mom was visiting. If you’ve never been to the city in July and August…well, let’s just say that you wouldn’t really know it’s summer. The fog has been giving us some misty/drizzle-type stuff and so I thought lots of color for today’s feature would be a nice little pick-me-up. Happy Thursday!

Pink. I honestly don’t think I was ever really a pink kinda girl. Don’t get me wrong, I do like some things that are that color. Maybe it depends on the shade. Come to think of it I do not have a piece of clothing that is pink. Am I the only female like this? The funny thing is, when I was searching for pretty images to share with you for this color feature, I came across images of Jem and the Holograms.
