remember when i shared this post with you? well, since that time i have been addicted to making pom poms. i went with a friend of mine to imagiknit here in the castro and picked up more yarn {holy sheesh, they have tons of gorgeous choices there!}. here’s what i’ve been up to…

i’m going to try and make some pom poms and then string them together to make a garland to hang. i’m looking for more bright and fun colors like yellow, orange, hot pink, etc. i somehow ended up with shades of blue and green.

i spotted a little surprise up in the tree on my walk home today…

just one little lonely flower. i thought the tree on its own was quite pretty and then found even more beauty within the greenery. there’s always a little something great to be found if you just look.

friday favorites.

happy first friday of february! this week flew by {once again} and i’m not looking forward to it being super bowl weekend. yeah, yeah, don’t kill me. it’s just that i work on sundays at the day job and it happens to be in a neighborhood lined with sports bars. it gets pretty crazy and this game will be more insane since san francisco is representing. eeek! well, i do hope that you will have a happy, happy aloha friday!

i have a strong love for things that are related to packaging. this includes all sorts of goodies that can be used to wrap gifts as well as supplies needed to make that happen. you know like tape, ribbon, etc. two of my favorites are always on display in my apartment…

i have two cones of this striped string {in red & black} from the lovely bell’occhio {if you haven’t been in yet, you gotta check it out!} that i think are so pretty that i leave out so i can see them each day. and that pair of handmade scissors i got a few years back from castle in the air and i love it, too.
